Add particular countries, currencies and languages you want to work with and use them on your store.

Countries

Countries is an application where you can see all the Countries you are able to use in BizBox Admin.

Countries are essential for creating Cultures, Taxes, Pricelists, Branches or Regions. Each Country represents just one Zone. If you want to create a Zone which represents more than one Country, you have to create a Region in the Regions application.

You are not able to add a new country by yourself. This is a system settings. If you want another country, you have to contact us.

Languages

Languages lets you add all the languages you are going to use in the BizBox Admin. Languages are essential when creating a Culture.

Particular languages are ordered according to your preferences (drag and drop a language to change its order). It is used in all translated fields, where the languages are ordered according to its order defined here.

How to add a new Language

  1. Run the Administration module and click the Languages application.

  2. Click the New button.

  3. Select the Language you want to add. You can start by typing the name of the inserted language in the System Language field. The Default Culture option will set the default language for the inserted data. Languages added here will NOT change the language of BizBox Admin. By default English is set as the Default Language - that means all data are inserted in this language.

  4. Click the Add button.

Regions

Regions allows you to create a community of Countries (such as the European Union). One Region represents one Zone. Regions are defined as a hierarchy - as a default the „World” Region is created and all other created Regions come under this Region.

Each Country you want to add into a Region must be added in the Countries application first.

How to add a new Region

  1. Run the Administration module and click the Regions application.

  2. Click the New button.

  3. For every Region you can specify:

    • Name (required) - Insert a name for this Region.

    • Code (required) - A 2 characters long abbreviation is used as an identification of this Region in a Culture. Inserted abbreviation can’t collide with an abbreviation of some Country or existing Region.

    • Country (required) - Select the Countries you want to add to this Region. All Countries which you want to integrate in this Region must be added in the Countries application first.

    • Currency (required) - Select the Currency that will be used for this Region.

    • Decimal Places (required) - Insert the number of decimal places that will be used for this Region.

  4. Click the Add button.

Currencies

The Currencies application is used to add all currencies you want to use in your online store to BizBox Admin. The work with currencies starts here.

Click the Add button and select the currency you want to work with - in Pricelists, Sales applications, Exchange Rates, Reports and E-shop Settings. A currency marked with the Default Currency flag will be used as a default in all applications. You can have only one default currency at a time. In case you have one and mark another one with this flag, the first one will be automatically unmarked and the new one will be set as the default one.

Rounding Multiple defines the rounding used for the currency. It is used in the following cases:

  • Rounding of imported prices.

  • Rounding of discounted prices in the cart (vouchers, order discount, loyalty points).

  • Product price calculation based on a price level.

  • Product prices in generated pricelists.

Remember that you are not able to work with a particular currency until you add it here.
